Oh my gosh guys! Know how to comment on stuff. JEEZ!!
So since you guys don't seem to know how to comment, I'll set up some rules:
1. Thank you to people who actually comment on stuff and don't just favorite and leave. Even a simple, "I love it!" is fine.
2. If you don't like something, don't comment. We don't care how much you hate something or how wrong it is, just move on and don't comment.
3. If you're posting a critique then know how to critique.
"This is retarded and makes me want to puke. The anatomy is all wrong and her hands look like sausages. This picture makes me want to kill myself." This is NOT a critique! To me, this is pure flaming and hurts like hell. Don't even try to tell me that this is a critique because it is NOT!
"This is quite good. There is a bit of problem with the body and the shading could be a little better. If you need some help with that stuff then check out these [Link] [Link]. Your hands are coming along well and I love the eyes. Keep up the good work!" That is a good critique in my opinion. You are pointing out some of the mistakes and you are giving the artist helpful hints on how to improve. You are also pointing what the artist has done well on the picture even if it isn't the best it could be. This encourages the artist to continue drawing and improving his/her skill.
4. Be careful what you post. People don't know your initial emotion when you are posting something and may take it the wrong way. Also, if you are in a bad mood and you read a comment, calm down and read the comment again before you reply. A argument or flame war could be started because of simplest comment. Note: It also helps to add emoticons to convey your emotions but don't rely on them for everything.
